FINALLY! After a week of challenging ENC Training, I was able to push through and succeed on each "Training Levels" which were designed to polish my so called "English Teaching Skills" [Evil Grin] and as a result of the successful training program, English Net College says: Welcome ENC-JAN!

July 1, 2013 marks the formal commecement of my Office-based English Teaching Career in English Net College, Davao City. The commecement was manifested by a probationary contract signing [Ceremony, Chos!] together with the Managing Director and Branch Manager. After the probationary contract signing, an office-wide procalmation happened through the initiative of the Training Manager by the words: "GNA Jan is now indorsed as an ENC Teacher" with the reinforcement of my colleagues' applauses. [Flattering huh!? Bwuhaha!]

With the welcoming applause[s] that my colleagues bestowed upon me, I labeled the "First Day" as one of the most memorable moment of my life.
The first day of being in ENC was not just a "special excitement day" per se.. but it was also a first day of building solid commitment to the organization.
Committing myself into this kind of career posed a lot of challenging things like: (1) the work environment adjustment - considering that the work place is not anymore my room;
(2) the adjustment on the company norms - as a newly proclaimed office member, it my full responsibility to be aware and to be adaptive with whatever norms the office follows; (3) adherence to office rules and regulations - although this is not new to me.. but because of the workplace transition [home-to-office] there is a big possibility that I might be able to defy [consciously/unconsciouly] some of the rules and regulations in the office; and (4) adjustment on the working shift - although working in a night shfit isn't new to me but the ENC PM shift will definitely put me in a test.
Despite the challenges mentioned earlier [and the future challenges as well!], I am still very optimistic that my decision of choosing this career will lead me to something good in the future because I believe that in whatever career that we choose, GOD will always govern our actions [reinforced by our efforts] that will lead to good outputs or results.
As I conclude this composition, I would like to express my immense gratitude, first of all, to our Almighty God for governing my actions as I performed at PAR during the training program. To the ENC Trainers, who were very committed and patient in polishing my English Teaching skills. Finally, to my ENC Colleagues for the encouragement and support.
