Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms attacked Davao City

Recently, Davao City was attacked by pesky rain showers and thunderstorms. Because of such fortuitous event,  a lot of miserable happenings occurred like flood, destroyed shelters, contagious diseases and other flood-related diseases.

WATER LEVEL INCREASE: FLOOD

FLOOD, as one of the miserable effects of heavy rain [and thunderstorms], poses a great disaster for people who are out of town. It doesn't only make them wet but it will keep them stranded for a long time especially if they are in places prone to flood.

LEPTOSPIROSIS WARNING

As mentioned earlier, diseases are also rampant and thus, people of Davao City received a warning from the DOH [Department of Health] about the disease called Leptospirosis, a bacterial disease that affects both humans and animals. Humans become infected through direct contact with the urine of infected animals or with a urine-contaminated environment. (http://www.who.int/topics/leptospirosis/en/)

Experiencing the aforementioned natural disaster and its effects are part of the Earth's natural environmental cycle. Thus, there's no way for us to escape from it. However, an IntelliWizard, like me, would think of possbile ways on how to protect Davao City from the HEAVY RAIN and THUNDERSTORMS. Hmmm... I guess the charms that I learned from Hogwarts will work...
